Isabelle is excited to be playing the modern adaptation of Sylvia from Shakespeare’s Two Gentlemen of Verona for Incognita Enterprises’ latest web series production, Walking Shadows Vol.1. Isabelle has worked across theatre and screen, appearing in a three-part web series titled Confinement as well as playing Coral in a production of Michael Gow’s Australian classic, Away, and a Chorus Leader in Euripides’ Antigone. Her monologue performance of Christie from Australian playwright, Daniel Keene’s, Mother, was nominated for the honour of OnSTAGE in 2017 for outstanding individual NSW HSC performances.
Currently Isabelle has just graduated from the one year full-time acting program at the Howard Fine Acting Studio in Melbourne. She has trained in Meisner technique, completing the six-week full-time Acting Conservatory program at The Acting Studio in New York in 2018, where she learnt under Sanford Meisner’s pupils. At 22 years of age, she has studied under the likes of Howard Fine, David Coury and Marilyn McIntyre from Howard Fine L.A as well as Lola Cohen at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York. She has also honed her screen acting technique at Pinewood Studios’, Actors Studio, in the UK.
Additionally, Isabelle is a trained jazz singer, having studied the jazz vocalist program at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and has appeared in musicals including Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast and Hairspray. Isabelle hopes to continue to work on roles across film and theatre that feature complex women characters and reflect the nuances of the female experience.
